Youtube is a huge content creation platform. From famous gamer creators to local bar musicians, people can use youtube to share their content with the world.
YouTube has a feature called Favorites that allows users to store videos they like. This feature is available to all YouTube users and can be accessed from the My Videos & Playlists page of their account.
How to add a video to your Favorites
You can use YouTube Favorites to organize videos you’re interested in and save them for later. This will allow you to view your saved videos in any order you want, and it’s also a great way to keep track of new video content.
When you find a video you’d like to save, click the options button adjustment next to it and select Save to Watch Later. This will open a pop-up menu, where you can choose to add the video to an existing playlist or create a new one.
You can edit and reorganize your favorites list at any time. You can also change the privacy settings of any of your playlists, from public to private or unlisted. You can access your YouTube Favorites by clicking the Library link on the global navigation bar. Then, select ‘Favorites’ from the drop-down menu. This will display all the videos you’ve added to your favorite list. You can then browse, search, share, and manage them as you wish.
How to remove a video from your Favorites
You can use YouTube’s Favorites feature to save videos that you want to watch later. This is a great option for when you’re on the go and don’t have the time to watch a video right away. However, if you no longer want to keep a video in your Favorites, there are a few ways to remove it.
The first way is to go to your YouTube homepage and make sure that you’re logged in. You can do this by clicking on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Once you’re logged in, you can click on the “Library” link in the global navigation menu to view your library. This will display a list of all of your saved videos, including any that you’ve added to the Favorites playlist.
You can also click on the “Edit Playlist” link to edit your Favorites playlist. This will open a list of all of the videos in your Favorites playlist, along with a check box that allows you to select multiple videos at once.
How to add a video to a playlist
Adding a video to a playlist is a great way to organize a group of videos so that they play in a specific order. It’s similar to making a music playlist on your phone or computer, but for videos.
When you select the Add to button, a pop-up will appear asking you to choose between several options. Choose the option “Create a new playlist.”
Once you have chosen a name for your new playlist, you will be able to set its privacy settings. You can make it public so that anyone can view it, unlisted so that only people with the link can see it, or private so that only you can access it.
Once you have saved your playlist, you can find it by clicking on the three lines that look like an equal sign (on the left side of your screen, above your profile picture). You will be able to edit the playlist and move videos around.
How to remove a video from a playlist
Playlists are a great way to keep track of videos that you want to watch later. But sometimes, they can get a little out of hand. If you have a playlist that contains too many videos, it may be time to delete it.
Thankfully, deleting a YouTube playlist is a relatively simple process. Just open your library, select the playlist that you want to remove, and then tap the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then, select “Delete playlist”.
There is one exception to this process, however: the Watch Later playlist. This is a built-in playlist that you cannot delete. Instead, you must clear the watched and unwatched videos from it. To do this, launch the YouTube app, log in, and then select Library from the lower panel. Then, open the Watch Later playlist and select “Remove watched videos”. This will remove all of the watched videos from the playlist. Then, you can re-add them to another playlist if you wish.
